Soap Holder

Day Bed

I recently visited a friend and she showed me her new day bed. I loved the idea of having a little day bed, which sole purpose was for relaxing time. So if she or her children were on the couch, the rest of the family respected the persons time out from the house and world.

Decorating With Branches

My inspiration for today is branches, in all its beautiful natural shapes and sizes. Branches are one of my favourite DIY materials to use for projects, because they are beautifully simple and they are free.

Recycled Wine Box

A few weeks ago I carved out little shapes in an old wine box and used it as a lamp shade. It turned out really nice and was a cute little corner light for a dinner party I had.

I have since decided to give the box to my little bunnies, as they love not only being able to hide in it, but also love chewing and decorating the box themselves.

This post is just a reminder that you can make cute things out of recyclable material. So think twice before you throw out any boxes!
