Pastel Nursery

Pastel colours are classic for nurseries and add colour in a sophisticated way. Even though babies can be messy, it doesn't mean that you cant have a classy and pretty nursery. One of the many things I love about pastel colours is how they compliment any style, be it country cottage or even more modern. Also they create a calm and relaxing environment for the little angels.

Prayer Flags

Every household should have Tibetan flags hanging and blessing their home. Not only do they look beautifully colourful, but also create a calming and peaceful environment around them.

Prayer flags are traditionally from Tibet, and each colour and prayer on the flags represent a meaningful mantra or symbol from buddhist prayers. They are traditionally hung outside in the mountains, as it believed that the wind blowing through the flags carry love, happiness and prosperity to those around from the spiritual vibrations. They also look stunning inside if you have no outdoor space.

Happy Walls

As much as I love white walls and white interiors, I also adore a house with colourful character. If done correctly, adding some colour and texture to your walls can completely transform your home.

The colours you choose are a reflection of your personality, just remember that you may have to live with the colour for a while, so choose carefully. Also colours look different depending on the light falling upon them, so maybe test before you complete the paint job.

Bringing Nature Indoors

Nowadays we are spending more and more time indoors. So I think it is important for us and our children, to try keep connected to nature and bring natural elements into our homes. Ultimately it will help create a clean aired environment and peaceful mood.
